What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create new user
2. Login with Gajim or poezio (maybe other clients too?)
3. prosody error log: "Failed to retrieve PEP bookmarks of user@server: item-not-found"
What is the expected output?
Dont' produce an error
What do you see instead?
above error
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I just tested it with Dino, no more errors :) thx.
